At Mahajan Therapeutics, we are committed to providing supportive environments for individuals in addiction recovery. Our sober living program provides the essential real-world support necessary for rebuilding lives and gaining vital life experiences.
If you need a structured and secure place during your recovery journey, we welcome you. Our facilities host clients from diverse backgrounds, whether you’re in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) or following the twelve steps independently, you’ll find a supportive community here.
Sober Living Home Locations
Our sober living homes are located in the Dayton and Portsmouth areas, offering separate housing for men and women.
Sober living homes are a residential housing program designed to support your recovery journey and long-term goals. Addiction can take everything from you, including your family and home life, until you enter treatment.
It can be difficult to regain your bearings, and sometimes, a little extra assistance can make all the difference. Our homes provide a safe, substance-free environment where residents can build the structure and accountability essential for recovery.
Our program starts with a three-month stay, extendable by another six months based on success in counseling, regular drug screening and community involvement.
We emphasize the importance of employment or volunteer work to ensure the productive use of your time, helping you to establish a routine that will be beneficial in your long-term recovery.
Employment or volunteering is a key component of sober living. We charge affordable rent starting after the second week, giving you time to stabilize financially. This requirement ensures that residents engage in productive activities and build healthy routines.
For those unable to work, we offer opportunities to contribute through facility jobs or volunteer roles, ensuring everyone is working towards their future and building necessary skills.
We encourage family visits to help rebuild important relationships. We believe in the power of family structures and relationships. Residents can come and go to attend to family responsibilities, with curfew allowances and overnight passes available.
This flexibility allows you to maintain and strengthen family connections. We also host free family nights on the second and fourth Monday of each month, which many residents look forward to showcasing their progress and reconnecting with loved ones.
Our program focuses on the twelve steps of sobriety, complemented by group and individual therapy, meditation and mindfulness programs. Regular drug screening and chores help maintain accountability and engagement.
These activities ensure that residents are not only staying substance-free but are also actively working on their personal growth and recovery.
This intermediate step prepares you for a successful future, as many former residents have achieved their recovery goals with us and moved on to lead fulfilling lives.
